Storage Heater Grants

If you’ve never utilised storage heater grants through the Government’s ECO Scheme then you really should give this knowledge page a read. ECO grants for storage heaters can potentially save you hundreds of pounds.
In the UK, many residential properties still don’t have a proper storage heaters installed. Government Energy Grants has been working with homeowners for quite some time now, helping them to claim ECO grants for storage heater installations.
What are Storage Heater Grants under the ECO Scheme?
If your property is outfitted with electric panel heaters or perhaps old electric storage heaters which do not work as efficiently, then you may be able to upgrade to a brand new storage heater by acquiring a grant under the Government-funded ECO (energy company obligation) scheme.

Electric storage heaters primarily use off-peak energy – up to 90% of your heating requirement may be satisfied through low-cost energy. This, in turn, means that you may be able to enjoy more than 25% savings compared to a regular storage heater system, and as much as 45% or more, compared to a traditional radiator system.

Government Energy Grants works with certified installers only who will conduct a free survey at your premises to determine if you qualify for storage heater grants through the ECO scheme.

Government Energy Grants offers a very straightforward and hassle-free process to help you cover the cost of new storage heater installation for free. Simple get in touch with us and our friendly advisor will put you through an easy evaluation process.

Next, we will dispatch a team to carry out a free survey of your property to determine what kind of storage heater you can have installed. They will also ensure that you qualify for a free electric storage heater grant through ECO.

As soon as your eligibility has been confirmed, we will submit the grant qualification for you and arrange for the installation to begin within the next few days, giving you a warmer, more energy efficient home where you’ll also see a reduction in your annual heating bills.

Why the latest storage heater is always better than your current one?
Simply put, the latest electric storage heaters are far more energy efficient than those installed in your home when you first moved in, or even those which you purchased a few years ago. Storage heaters have seen a lot of improvements in technology over the years, particularly after 2018 – the latest HHR (high heat retention) heating systems consume ‘cheap’ energy during the night, making them a very practical and more cost-effective heating solution next to regular electric heaters.

Newer storage heaters are also cheaper to install and run compared to, say, a central heating system and much easier to maintain – there’s no piping involved as such since only electricity is required.

Our team at Government Energy Grants has been helping UK households for years, advising them on how they can take advantage of a free grant for storage heaters. All our installers are certified, licensed and insured, carrying out the job to the highest standards and with minimal intrusion.

The UK Government’s ECO scheme is only valid until the end of 2022 and exists to help both homeowners and tenants have 100% free replacements for their storage heaters as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.

The main goal of the ECO scheme for storage heater is to cut down the cost of heating as much as possible, particularly for low-income households, while also helping them to reduce their carbon footprint. If you contact us today, our team can visit your premises within a day or two to carry out a free, no-obligation survey. Don’t pass up this chance to get the latest storage heater for free!
